ContextTo support the Beaumanoir group’s drive to develop multi-brand ready-to-wear points of sale, C-log, the group’s logistics arm, wanted to improve its stock management process by setting up a grouped offer covering several warehouses and orchestrating order processing for the group of warehouses.
ChallengeKbrw’s solution needed to consolidate the stocks of several warehouses and set up complex order orchestration rules for the preparation of those orders. It needed to take account of the diversity and level of stocks stored at the different warehouses, while also reducing the number of split orders.
SolutionThe solution designed by Kbrw is a comprehensive order processing OMS. It enables orders to be orchestrated and sent towards the grouped offer warehouses, to be prepared according to a set of business rules – drawn up with the group beforehand– and ATP analysis results. The solution includes the management of split orders and cross-docking, should the need arise.
OutcomeCurrently under development, the solution will pave the way for deployment of the group’s multi-brand stores by enabling centralized procurement. The solution will be rolled out in just two warehouses initially, followed by a further gradual deployment.
